Sports Psychology Seminar for Figure Skaters – February 11, 2012

Sports Psychology Institute Northwest (*SPIN) will be presenting a sports psychology seminar focused on figure skating on Saturday, February 11, from 12:00 – 1:00 pm at the Oregon Sports Offices.  The seminar will consist of three 1-hour sessions – one for skaters, one for parents and one for coaches.  They will run simultaneously.

SPIN is a Portland-based sports psychology institute that works with athletes and athletic organizations to improve athlete performance and emotional well-being, in their given sport.  Their clients include youth soccer and volleyball organizations, local high school teams, the Portland Timbers youth sports organization and amateur and elite individual-sport athletes.

The seminar is sponsored by the Skating Club of Oregon (SCORE).  The cost of the seminar is $15 per member family for SCORE members and $25 per member family for non-SCORE members.  Space is limited.  Pay in advance to reserve your spot by contacting Petra Horvath at pchorvath@comcast.net.  Or pay at the door on a first come, first served basis.  It will be a worthwhile afternoon for all who attend.  We hope you can make it!
