Ikaika Young Coaches Novice Dance Team to 4th Place Finish Overall at USFS Nationals

Congratulations to SCORE member and coach Ikaika Young for coaching his Novice dance team of Chloe Rose Lewis and Logan Bye to a 4th PLACE FINISH OVERALL at US Figure Skating Nationals!   We are also fortunate to have Chloe and Logan train at SCORE’s home rink, Winterhawks Skating Center. Please congratulate Ikaika, Chloe and Logan when you see them!

SCORE’s first annual Skate for the Roses competition, is May 19-20, 2012 at Winterhawks Skating Center.  Please find the official announcement attached.  Registration will be taken on-line through Entryeeze.  More details regarding registration will made available once it opens.

January 28, 2012 ‘A Night at Nationals’

Come join us for a fun January Club Event: we’ll be watching the US National Ladies Free Skate competition on a big screen AND we’ll have a tasty International potluck set up for all to enjoy. 

When:     Saturday, January 28th, 2012 at 3:30 pm

Where:    Oregon Sports Offices

4840 SW Western Ave.

Beaverton, OR 97005 (KFC is on the corner.  Sports Offices building is connected to Bingo Hall)

Skate for the Roses Competition Committee Meeting – Saturday, January 7th

There will be a kick-off meeting for the committee chairs for SCORE’s first annual “Skate for the Roses” competition.  Shortly after that, the committee will make the official competition announcement and begin volunteer recruitment.  We hope all members will find a way to help with this exciting club event!
